Sheriff's Office annual Badges and Bobbers youth fishing event June 27

In an effort to improve the relationship between the community and law enforcement, the Goodhue County Sheriff’s office is pleased to host the 6th annual Badges and Bobbers fishing event on June 27. The event is a great opportunity for the Sheriff’s office to open up the lines of communication between our youth and our deputies. Law enforcement officers make good role models, and this event is a perfect opportunity for the youth of Goodhue County to interact with our deputies outside of their uniforms.
The Sheriff’s Office appreciates fishing and the peace and joy it can bring. This program provides equipment to the youth so they can also find pleasure in this activity and teaches them how to use the equipment. Fishing is a healthy alternative to other activities that may be presented to youth in Goodhue County.
Registration is required, a form is available on the Sheriff’s website. Kids are expected to be accompanied by an adult. All fishing will be done on shore. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
