Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) is Minnesota's Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) program. EPSDT is a federal program required in every state to provide comprehensive health care and dental services for children under the age of 21 who are eligible for Medicaid. Periodic examinations or screenings are delivered according to the C&TC Schedule of Age-Related Screening Standards.
This program connects children enrolled in a Medical Assistance Program with Medical and Dental service providers and offers information regarding child development, health and safety, and community resources. Goodhue County’s Medical Assistance Plans are Blue Advantage Families and Children’s Plan from Blue Plus and South Country Health Alliance. Members also have access to health promotion vouchers. Please visit their website or contact your local C&TC Coordinator for more information.
