To conduct estate sales MN Statute 325E.70 requires that "Estate Sale Conductors" (ESC) file a surety bond with the county treasurer of either the ESC's county of residence or the county in which the sale is to be held. You will need a surety bond for the minimum amount of $20,000 (the minimum amount per MN Statute 325E.70.)
You may file in person at the Finance & Taxpayer Services Office at the Goodhue County Government Center.
There is no cost to file your surety bond.
