Our Goals

Why strive to improve the health of Goodhue County?

Locally Driven

Live Well Goodhue County is directed by a local Community Leadership Team that brings expertise and connections to our table.  Volunteers from each of our communities, our schools, our non-profits, and our businesses work to establish and grow community support for policy, systems, and environmental change work in obesity prevention and tobacco use and control. Our leadership team works together to focus priorities, engage community members, and help guide the selection of evidence-based strategies. If you would like to join our Community Leadership Team, please contact Gina Johnson or Sarah Dawson (see contact information below).

Better Health Together

If you would like to implement a new policy, or system or change the environment so it’s easier for residents in your community, children at your daycare or school, employees/co-workers at your business to be active, eat healthy and/or live tobacco-free, please contact Gina Johnson or Sarah Dawson. Mini-grant opportunities are available.
