Budget Calendar Truth in Taxation
Summary Budget Statements are prepared by staff in the Finance & Taxpayer Service’s Office and are designed to provide citizens with an overview of the current year’s budget. As required by Minnesota statute, this information is published in the official newspaper of the county.
Budget Details are prepared by staff in County Administration and represent an itemized budget for each fiscal year. Final budget details, along with the annual levy are approved by the County Board in December of each year.
